A recent Jed post talked about visiting a bison/buffalo ranch. A man huge in my life -- my Dad's brother Ernie Kraft -- dedicated many years as an employee at the National Bison Range, Moise, MT. If any of you old-timers are from that area, N. of Missoula, and familiar with the Range, you may have may met or heard stories about Uncle Ern. He's written a book about life on the Range. He's an extremely talented artist, who does not like to go to showings or signings, or have the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation remove all his rights to piece of his work. And he knows his subjects . . . . This is an older article, but, here's something about Uncle Ern.
