what is anyones opinion in a chargrey crossed with a chianina? thus having height(chianina) and frame aswell as the muscle and rapid growth (chargrey). if someone has tried it could they tell me what it is like?

i wouldn't use the chianina as a father, but would cross them in first with the murray grey for the mother base, then use the Charolais as terminal. this will give you slightly less hight, still enough frame and more growth. also chianina will add good calving abilities to the mothers.

If you already have the Chargrey I will personaly cross them with Romagnola or Marchigiana, not so high but better frame and muscle.

I have cross Charolais with Romagnola and the cross really give muscle, as well Charolais-Simbrah cows cross with Romagnola bulls
