My older dog has gotten skunked several times, and thanks to covid I can't smell it till she is back in the house and has rubbed on everything. I don't bother with the bathes, I have an odor neutralizing room spray that I keep on hand and spray the dog and everything she has gotten on to as well as just in the air in the house. Because its always just before bed when she gets sprayed, after using the room spray I just go to bed and by morning the skunk smell is gone.
