The ground is rotten here to.. We're suppose to be in a mild drought.but the way the water is holding on top of the ground,,you'd think we're well above average...

I have 2 cows that spit out calves that color every year. Within a couple months they'll turn jet black. Must be lacking some nutrient while they're pregnant. I don't know though. I kinda like the color he is now.

I get a few every year too. that shed out big chunks of baby hair coming back slick black..

It is "usually" calves that are heterzygous black.
