Fall of 2016, we bought a bred heifer from a local cattle company. She ended up giving us a mess of a calf. Not impressive but you hoped she was just an underdog. Deeply disappointed. But she was a Belvin Tres Patron sired calf and surely a big mistake on breeders part.
Fast forward, we knew we needed to be tried and true, breeding her again. We chose to use Up N Coming (Styles Upgrade full brother, my FIL is part owner of) that has always produced great females for us. The reward? She is the most beautiful young heifer we have. Hard to get a great pic but here she is!
I do realize my preference will differ from others but she really tickles my fancy! We have a few heifers that look like bulls. I prefer this girl over the others but I'm sure they'll all grow into themselves.
