He had some interesting things to say about the Murray Grey breed. It is his belief that the original cow that Eva Sutherland identified as a Shorthorn was actually a Galloway. Grey is a dominant color in the Galloway herd. If you look at the Speckle Park breed, it is supposedly the same crossShorthornxAngus but it looks nothing like a Murray Grey. I have only one Murray Grey cow but I have Angus, Shorthorn and Galloway cattle. To me I would guess she looks a bit more to the Galloway cows. This of course is a sample size of one. Has there ever been any genetic testing done to confirm that the Murray Greys are related to the Shorthorns instead of the Galloways? Any thoughts on this?</blockquote>
