Mowing bermuda?

When cutting bermuda for hay how low should it be mowed so you won't slow down the regrowth too much?

Cut to 4 inch height is what I've read and do.

I peel the hide off of it and I cut hay every 4 weeks.(When I'm not in a drought) If the field is rough I might tilt the blade up some to save from messing up the blades.

That is the way that it is done around here, shoot the nitrogen to it, it will come back with a bang.

I cut it as low as you can get it. Get as much in the bale as possible.

Scalp it.

Turf or pasture bermuda shouldn't be scalped.
