Moving Cows(photos)

We moved the herd yesterday, the pasture they were on was getting kinda grazed off. Brought them home, put the bred heifers with them and then took them out to their new digs.

Found the first of them

Seems kinda a shame to move them when the water is still running....

Found the main herd

Bringing a straggler...

Out the gate and down the road

Keeping them moving

And they're off....

Not too far from town (or home for that matter)

Waiting in a gate, they always think they should turn here...

Across one bridge and heading over the second

At home, ready to go to the new pasture

Jogee, it really wasn't that cold that day. Right around the freezing mark. Now today is colder, -15 C!
