And it wasn't even on the to do list for a while yet. But it is that time of year, and since I work 3 out of every 7 days for the next while we just decided to do it. They moved real good, but we did discover that we had a cow die on us about a month or so ago. But the rest of them all look good!! Yesterday we pregchecked our heifers and a few of our poorer cows, out of 55 heifers we had 7 dry and out of 20 cows we had 2 dry. A little higher that we would have liked on the heifers, but we've heard of some real wrecks around too.

Here's the cows we moved this afternoon....

Yes she is, he is a NSH or Arab/Saddlebred. My hubby's horse is Hanoverian x QH.

You all must be good riders and horse folks, those National Show Horses can get a bit hot sometimes, beautiful moving horses.

Nope, she is a beginner/intermediate rider. He looks hot, but he's real sensible. He is a real sweetie. Pull him out of the pasture and hop on, doesn't matter if its every day or once a month....

Great pics Randi. Tell the hubby he could learn from the dogs. They lay in the shade from the horse. :lol2: :lol2: :lol2:

Enjoyed the pictures.

Great life for a young lady. Hope she appreciates it, at least til she discovers boys!
