Good morning greybeard.
I was just looking at areas that'll be in path of totality for the April 2024 solar eclipse.

Copperas Cove appears to be in the path (according to the internet, and to my brief Rand McNally wet finger estimation)

I haven't looked at statistics because I don't trust them (unless I make them up).
My place near Mena Arkansas is also in the path of totality.

I'm pretty sure this is a once in a lifetime event…….for an Arkansas redneck and a Texas roughneck to witness an event, at the same time, outside of a bar and without bloodshed.

I still haven't found the emoji's.

The Perseid meteor shower occurs next weekend but coincides with a full moon so might (will probably) be hard to see any but the brightest.
