We call them both mountain oysters-usually just specify whether they're from pigs or calves. One thing for sure-they're good.

Rocky Mtn Oysters up here....over the hill in Montana, a bit east of Missoula there is a testicle festival every summer.

Up here I've most often heard them referred to as "Prairie Oysters".

Tried 'em once, but guess they weren't rinsed off well enough from the procedure before they were cooked, as the fella had been using a knife dipped in Dettol between cuttings and they sure tasted awful.

Ugh.
