Here in Australia.
$300,000 for a grey Brahman bull.
$145,000 for a red Brahman bull
$80,000 for a grey Brahman heifer
all of these Brahman sales were in 2006.
$160,000 for a Poll Hereford heifer.

Saw a picture las week in the Grandview/CMR catalog that showed a bull from, I would say, the 60s that sold for $320,000. I don't know what that amount would convert to at today's dollar value, but I would say it's pretty darned high -- probably the highest I've heard of.
