I have seen a lot of people lose weight on these. It seems though if they quit, they find it fast.

In several of the upcoming weight loss drugs, a different hormone called glucagon is in the spotlight. Glucagon is a key blood-sugar-regulating hormone that can mimic the effects of exercise.

Work out in my recliner. I like that.
You may be in luck with that new drug that affects glucagon as it has the same effect as exercising without exercising. Also, a recliner that is not push button has more aerobic qualities that electric.

Oh mine has an electric motor.
Have you ever been all reclined and relaxed with your feet up in the air when the electricity went off or somebody for the heck of it unplugged? Those things are no fun to climb out of as I have been there and done that. They need a battery backup. They are nice especially with the lift chair built in.

Oh yes. I struggle to get out of it. Lol

I think every household with a person over the age of 50 needs a milwaukee battery and one those battery toppers that doe's 120vac for this very reason. Our power was out for 8 hrs last Tuesday while I was at work. When I got home the wife had her phone plugged into one of those little car battery boosters. Modern conveniences I guess.

That happened to Mr. TC after his lumbar laminectomy. I bought him a zero-gravity recliner with massage, heat, the works. Went to town for errands and while I was gone the electricity went out. Bless his heart, flopping around like a turtle on its shell. He couldn't get out and naturally, didn't have his phone on the table RIGHT NEXT to the chair. He finally decided to just wait it out and fortunately, the power had been restored by the time I got home. But I gotta say, he was a little traumatized and scared of the chair for quite a while after that.
