At 10:40 AM radar shows a line of thunderstorms from 50 km northeast of Barrhead to 30 km northwest of Swan Hills tracking south-southeastwards at 60 km/h. Some cells in this line can produce strong damaging winds, large hail, intense lightning and local heavy downpours.

Note..A summary of all warnings and watches for northern Alberta is available in the WWCN16 CWWG bulletin issued immediately following this bulletin.

Please refer to the latest public forecasts for further details.

A cold front sweeping down from the north is combining with a warm humid air mass to create favourable conditions for the development of severe thunderstorms this afternoon and into the evening hours. The main threats with these storms are strong damaging winds, large hail and heavy downpours.

And there's more warnings for Swan Hills and Slave Lake areas.
OH LORDY!! Get under cover!! Tie down everything--Do you have a cellar?
Yes, but lucky for us the storm just blew over...a lot of thunder and a bit of rain, but no funnel clouds. *Whew*

But we're still under a watch tonight. Supposed to dissapate by this evening, hope they're right..
