Today's chores. As you can see the snow is slowly disappearing. Cows weren't in too big of a hurry for feed today, and the dog sure helps!!

Before I got out there, you can see the neighbours in the background.

Yes he does. It is pretty nice not having to fight them off or have them eat the strings. They are pretty well trained now, and usually they wait til I am done. He also chases them out of the way when I am rolling a bale out.

Yep, he's pretty good. We got him a year ago for free because he was too much for the family that had him. From the way he acted then I don't think he had ever been off a chain or leash. He was 1 1/2 years old at the time, and we had him going fairly well within about 6 months. He had never even seen cows before. He is Heeler x Kelpie and here is a pic.
