Moved the few spring calvers I have out with the bull yesterday, it was hot, so I thought I would get a couple of good pictures of the calves on the mowed grass, apparently they liked the bull better.

What have you been feeding your cows rocket2222? They look about as wide as tractor trailer rigs.

Had these cows out in the same lot with the fall calving group most of the winter, they all got hay to eat, it was mostly orchard grass with a little clover and fescue mixed in and some mineral, I say some because the bull used the feeder to rub on which tipped it over and wasted the minerals so I quit feeding it to them on a regular basis. Somewhere between 40/45 days before they calved I moved them over to the lot closer to the house, they got millet hay and I did spoil them with a scoop of grain every now and then.
