I am still wondering what does it has to do with being an Vietnam Veteran with Ted Turner and Jane Fonda? I cannot see the connection....

Ask a Veteran about it , you might learn something..

i, being from montana, have heard about this happening and heard that it is true!!! i know the place they talk about and they happen to have the best steaks around!!! definately worth the trip :D :D

Shall I bring the A1 or do they provide it there? :cboy:

I never need to be reminded that money does not buy class.

Nor will I ever need reminding, that Hanoi Jane was directly responsible for the torture and death's of so many of our fellow countrymen in Vietnam. Sometimes there can be no forgiveness. This is one of them. :cboy:

crowder and medic.....you ever find yourselves in southwest montana, you look me up and me and jesse will gladly take you to this steakhouse and treat you both to the very BEST steak this side of the mississippi...no A1 needed!! ;-) ;-)

Let's see Medic is to my East, he can just swing up I-40 and pick me up, we'll be there sometime Monday, depending on driving skills. I'll tell the wife just to pick up my chorelist for a few days... Wait I have chorelist? she does the heavy work anyway...     Ready for a road trip Medic?

basefall fan, jane fonda was the one who was telling everyone american prisoners in vietnam were treated fairly. she had made a trip thre to see some i guess & she ended up causeing a lot of them to suffer many more beating & other torture. not what you would call much of an american. kind of like kerry

neither ted turner or jane fonda are names that you speak above a whisper in my neck of the woods...not only for janes stand on vietnam, but also they way they have treated (and cheated) the locals!! not what i would call "popular" folk!

roughly 300-400 depending on whether you are counting all the outlying ranchers, dogs, cats, horses, pigs, etc :D very close knit community...gotta love it!

Well Crowder, you may have made that comment in jest , and I do apprecitate the confidence in me that I would make a good travel companion, Thanks! BUT, I am truly ready for a real road trip that is in no way related to work, or the farm. Although I find myself 'buying' real estate and comparing farms and ranches everywhere I go, usually with great envy.
But, I suspect this is one of those steak houses that serve a REAL steak, one that weighs more then a few measly fractions of a pound.
Be gald to take a road trip wit hya Crowder, but your right......how does one get the time.

Didn't I hear that Jane and Ted are no longer a couple cus she found God,(her God no doubt looks incredibly like Ho Che Min!) and he remains an aitheist?

And I also wonder how many square miles of the western states they now own?

Medic, I aint had a day off but Sundays for years. That big whole day off consists of Church, get a bite to eat and then IF weather permits head out with a farm punch list. Never ends.Be glad when it stays light out til 8PM. As for Jane and Ted, well I cant wish them good or bad, just dont wish them anything. Heard she was having hip surgery? Maybe they'' put her right leg over her left shoulder and run her as a sideshow attraction at a carnival, call her the sidewinder!! :o

Don't get me started about Hanoi Jane. Baseball, you need to go to a VA hospital and ask the veterans what they think of Jane. You'll get a alot of responses and none of them will be positive. On a previous post baseball, you said you supported the troops so I would suggest that you DO go to a VA hospital and visit the vets, they would appreciate it.

Thanks for your service Mr. Austin.
Anyone who says they support the troops but don't support the troops goal is a confused indvidual. It is like saying I support the St. Louis Cardinals but I am against their trying to win the division or the world series. You got a friend in me Mr Austin , for life. I owe you one. Would the rest of you vets that served in war time please post your service dates and country of service. No name necessary. I would just like to know who you are.
