Does anyone have any experience or advice about the Miss Wix of McCumber bloodlines? The ones I have seen in catalogs seem extremely deep in body, and the only one I have seen in person had the worst attitude of all of the 62 lots that sold that day. I am assuming it is an older bloodline like the Shoshones?

Hi Joe...I know nothing about Miss Wix, so, unsure if this is what you are looking for http://www.angusjournal.com/mccumber/

LaGrands had a Miss Wix in there sale line up last April, she seemed a little high strung, pawing at the saw dust, and blowing a little snot.

Thank you. Do you happen to know is that where the Miss Wix originated? I didn't even know the McCumber ranch was that close by. Also, do you happen to know what the Miss Wix from LaGrand's sale brought? I looked back through the catalog, and that was the only one they had there?!?

The Miss Wix line produce some very famous female sin their day. The bloodlines that are popular come and go but a good cow is always in style. I would vist the mccumber ranch website and check out the ranch history section. It used to have a nice history on the Miss wix line.
