I have a bull calf that I am bottle raising. I would like to keep him as a pet. How long should I bottle raise him? I don't have any more cows. I have 21/2 aces. Does anyone have any information on this? He is 2 months old and is on 4 liters twice a day and is eating hay and grain.

calves i have bottle raised as a kid we fed about 8 -12 weeks, but a little longer is o.k.. when you are a kid you get tired of it and are ready to quit. when they start eating grain then they are ready ro move on. dairy farmers in your area or books are available on this web site on raising bottle calves that can help.
