I'd be sending the full size parents to slaughter. They are carrying the genes and should be culled or everyone down the line will be in danger of having a dwarf. If you know where your animals came from you might want to inform the prior owners so they are aware. This is just like breeding dogs with genetic defects because someone thinks their precious Muffy is so cute that she should have puppies. We just rescued a mini cow from our breeder, born from full-size parents but incredibly tiny! At 5 months old, he's about 24 inches tall and under 50 pounds. He's healthy and active, but has anyone seen this before? How big might he get, and should we be concerned about health issues?

I was wondering about that too? Or maybe we really aren't in the Twilight Zone...This is a very odd post!!
Especially after this post. Brought back from the dead after 2 years
Mini Cow?
Hoping someone has experience with this - we just rescued a cow from our breeder which was bred out of a full size cow and bull but is just TINY. I've attached a few pictures. He is 5 months old and probably 24 inches tall and weighs less than 50 lbs. He is super healthy, active and friendly...www.cattletoday.com
