The USA 2022 ABS beef book has 3 Millah Murrah bulls:
Rocket Man R38
Rembrandt R48
Paratrooper P15

Thoughts on these bulls?

Paratrooper is the sire of both Rembrandt and Rocket Man and Paratrooper is by EF Commando. Rembrandt and Rocket Man would not have any progeny on the ground as yet and Paratrooper would have his 2nd lot of calves now. There is a lot of hype in Australia with Millah Murrah and in particular Paratrooper and his progeny. I am a bit of a contrarian so I haven't used any Millah Murrah genetics plus they tend to be priced outside what I am comfortable to pay. I think the breeder Ross Thompson is a very good judge of what works and doesn't and from my observations he doesn't go chasing numbers. Probably the true value is a bit less than what the hype suggests but still good.

I know very little about Australian genetics but ABS Australia had placed a sizeable order on S Right Time 7861. We are thankful for them to do that.
