What would be the best grasses for MIG in west central Missouri?

The best combination would be fescue and clover for most of the year and warm season native grasses for the summer. The just need to be managed seperatly.

I agree with Dun and would add to avoid Kentucky 31 if possible. Use either endophyte free or friendly endophyte fescue like Max Q.

Warm season grasses and cool season grasses require different grazing/cutting hights, different fertility requirements and different rest periods.
