The bolt i am drilling out is a metric 16x40x1.50. What standard bolt size would you tap it out to?? Or just try and find the next size bigger metric>

L lavacarancher Well-known member Joined Jan 6, 2009 Messages 2,013 Reaction score 55 Location Lavaca county, Texas May 6, 2013 #2 RB, 16mm in diameter X 40mm in length X 1.5 threads/mm? 16mm is about 5/8", 40mm is about 1.5" long. The next size up SAE bolt will be a 3/4". Does this help you any?
