Merry Christmas

Help Support CattleToday:

We are enjoying a nice brown Christmas in this part of NE Montana... Cows are spread out thru the hay meadows grazing- and we haven't had to yet roll out a bale... Spent the morning riding around thru the cows- thanking the Good Lord for all we have... Isn't probably as warm as Florida- and there was a few snow flakes in the air- But its not too often we get a brown Christmas so I had to snap a few pictures and try out the new pocket size camera I got for Christmas..

Both the coming yearling heifers and old cows seem to be staying in good shape and enjoying the nice December temps we've had... If the weather holds I may start rolling out about 10-15 lbs of year old hay after the first of the year to make the grass go longer....

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!

Seems that camera takes decent pictures :) I wish my cattle still were grazing.. I am feeding now, I can't complain though, there's plenty to last the winter and I have more cows than I've ever had.
