Hope you all have a merry Christmas and a happy, safe and prosperous new year.

These Cattle Today forums are a very worthwhile source of information and it's nice that there are so many thoughtful contributors --- and with a minimal amount of bickering, no name calling, etc. that unfortunately is found on so many other free forums.

Dun -- I see that there is nasty weather in Mo. today. Hope you don't suffer too much as a result. Down here around Houston we are having our first real cold front (well, cold for us) of the year. The prediction is that it might even get down to freezing in the next day or so.

We've now officially had the snowiest december in history. The old record was 18 inches in 2000, so far we're over 19 nd still snowing. Hot ziggies. Got plenty of fire wood in, cows got hay, all we do is break ice twice a day and stare at the snow. By the week-end it's going to be bakc in the 40's. Oh well, can't say it isn't interesting.
