". Something I saw today that I thought to share. It's a clip from an essay. Anybody recognize it? I do in my loins...never saw it before in print.
 
Ralph Waldo Emerson, "Society and Solitude", chapter 6 "Farming" published in 1870. Edit - Added: "Society and Solitude" is a collection of lectures Emerson turned into essays which were collected and published. It appears several state Ag departments usurped the work without much if any attribution.
