The fist song sort of concerned my why a new comer would write about, "That's How I Got To Memphis," as it is such a bad city to get to. But as I looked at the "Youtube" listings, "Tom T Hall" sang it first many years ago, in his younger years when the city was a good place. Here is his version. I like the new guy, but I really like TTH. I love the sound of the old county music.
