I'm not 40 But, I do remember a lot of those things. Guess I had a sheltered childhood? I do kinda miss it all though!

I think one of the things I miss the most was the whole family gathered around the radio on Saturday and Sunday nights listening to The Whistler, The Shadow, Burns and Allen, Jack Benny, Great Gildersleeve, Fibber McGee and Molly, Ted Macks Original Ameutur(sp) Hour, etc. The only ones of those old radio shows that I remember making a succesfull transition to tv where Burns and Allen and Jack Benny.
