Mastitis?

Hiefer had a calf about 10 days ago and one quarter of her sack is hard. Teat is also pretty large and is a little chapped. Tried milking it out some tonight but got very little out. Is this mastitis? Neighbor thought so going to the vet's tomorrow just wondering what treatment should be.

Could be mastitis, edema or just a damaged quarter.
Mastitis can be treated with antibiotics, edema with steroids, damaged quarter, ah well..............

Vet had me infuse Pirsue up the teat and give penicillin. I hope this helps her she is a nice Reg. Hereford with her first calf. Thanks fo rthe input.
