Massey Ferguson 4608

IM looking to buy a new Massey Ferguson tractor. Have been looking at the 4608/9 and the 5445. Leaning more towards the 4wd 4608 platform w/ loader and skid steer bucket. I'll be trading in a '12 model Mahindra 6530- it's junk. Does anyone have any experience w/ this tractor? pros/cons Thanks

A neighbor has a MF 5445 and the last check has around 3500 almost trouble free hours. I think they had a clutch put in at 2700 hours. When it was new it took a while to get the AC working good, but Massey replaced the compressor.

I wouldn't touch a Mahindra either, or any of these new offshore brands,.. Kioti, etc. My friend is looking at a YTD, says it's loaded with good options, and has a Perkins engine... I still wonder about it though.. is it a Perkins design made in India?

The tractor is made in Japan. It has to be better than the crap from India.

If you get the MF PLEASE buy a pair of good boots with very aggressive tread....
