Calif is the most populated state in the US, with a huge number of people that refuse to wear masks, & insist on social recreational gatherings in spite of mask mandates.

Top of the list is Pelosi's nephew CA Gov Gavin Newsom who endlessly chides his constituents for not following Wuhan Red Death guidelines. Got caught recently whooping it up with holier than thou compadres breaking all the Covid rules at a ritzy $300 a plate shindig at a the posh Napa Valley restaurant. There's a valid reason companies and the public are leaving the state. Your point?

One thing about Covid it cured the flu we have been fighting for centuries.

A doctor on another forum took the vaccine. We didn't hear much from him for about 8 days. Somehow he now is recovering from Covid=19 and Influenza at the same time. He is saying that the Flu is what kept him down and what was the worse. But he's been front line on Covid since before it was starting to be seen in March. This is his first sickness. He is head guy at a large military base and works with the CDC on this. He has been wearing a mask and not living at home during this time so his family would not have the contamination.

Good points, from what I have been reading our states positive test results have been averaging somewhere around 8% down from over 9% in previous weeks. That means that the vast majority of the tests are negative. Still without preventive measures those rates would spread much worse.

It would be interesting to antibody test the 91% who tested negative to get an idea of what % have contracted and recovered from covid without being aware of it.

It could be done by doing both tests at same time, or to save money do it randomly for a day or 2 ie every 10th person tested receives both tests.

44 staff members at San Jose Ca. Medical Center tested positive Dec. 28 - 31st

The outbreak was traced to 1 of the 44 employees wearing an inflatable christmas tree costume in the emergency department on Christmas Day.
The costume contained a battery powered fan to keep it inflated and operating a fan is a bad idea when dealing with respiratory diseases with airborne transmission.

It is unknow IF or how many visitors or patients also became infected.

The hospital employee was not identified, but you know it had to be a woman.

Yes - if you feel it is offensive to be a woman - then you should feel offended.
But - if you are proud to be woman - then you should be proud that women can behave as stupidly as anyone else, be it binary, nonbinary and so on.

Being offended is past being a hobby, some people make a good living from being offended.
