I need some help on finding some information. Doing some research for a friend. I need to know the price of a 500 - 600 lb steer the last week in August in Alabama from 1999 to present. I have found 2015 and 2014 but need the previous years. Does anyone have a website or link? Thanks

Would anyone at the "Alabama Beef Council" (or whatever it might be called down there) have something?

If not there, find someone with access to a Bloomberg machine. They are the single largest repository of financial statistics I'm aware of. The access is super pricey. Most likely the person you're looking for is a full-time investment professional.

Some business schools have Bloomberg machines. Iirc, they're about $100k ea.

I am having a hard time breaking down by state but here is what I found for the last business day of August for the following years for 'USDA Cattle Dressed Steer Total All Grades Price'
