OP OP A Anonymous Feb 7, 2003 #2 Actually there are several breeds that are known to marble well. The ones that I am aware of are: Angus (both red and black), Hereford, Shorthorn, South Devon, Murray Grey, Wagyu, & Braunvieh.

OP OP A Anonymous Feb 7, 2003 #3 As I know, Normande has demostrated , in different carcass contest, to have good marbling, Tarentaise can be compared in marbling with Braunvieh.
