does anyone out there have any info on maintainer cattle the other breeds used to produce the maintainer and their color and performance and breeders

I saw a maintainer show listed in the NAILE book.
For mainetainer they do not have to be 3/4. Mainetainers are percentage maine. It was a program started to recognize Maine Genetics etc. Most every show has a mainetainer class. If you want to show as a maine yes they must be 3/4 blood or higher.[/quote]That's what Cowboy is saying. Here in Texas we have no Mainetainer class. To show as a Maine here, it must be 3/4 blood or more.
