Well how was it?
I never got a catalog this time, went on line and viewed it. saw several interesting pedigrees.
Did you expand your herd?

We added a yearling heifer by BR DM Channing and out of a daughter of Starr SS Thunder. This one is my husbands and mine's. All the other herefords belong to the kids. I'll try to get pictures and post tomorrow. She is 5+ months younger than the 2 were are feeding and almost the same size-just not near as heavy. She's pretty green. We'll see what happens. I really wanted the King heifer, but she brought more than we had to spend. She's at our house right now, though. Our friends bought her and we are keeping her for them tonight. (Wonder if I could "Hide" her!

Overall how was the sale? What seemed to sell best? pairs or breds? how was the bull buyer activity? our sale is in a couple weeks just curious? we seem to have a lot of open heifers (spring 08)
consigned. Just curious what the market may be. Thanks L Day (DFF)

The heifer prices ranged from a low of 875 to a high of 2300.
Pairs sold well-ranging from 1800 (first calver with a 5 day old bull calf) to 2500 with a fall calf.
Bulls ranged from 1000 to 375.
