I thought was fescue I sprayed my best hay fields with nitrogen twice and with all the rain fescue went crazy. I recuse to plant of anymore

Have you considered hybrid Sudan or Johnson grass? Maybe you should.

Looks good , better than what mine will get in about a month. We had a real rank first cutting of native grass on some new hayground, but I think it'll give us the quantity we need , hopefully. I've fed a little along with the good stuff and they don't much like it, but they won't have a choice before too much longer.
