On Friday I did another bull customer ranch visit in ND and took a few photos of what I saw. I never got to see his steer pasture as he has them sexed and they were 40 miles away. But the girls sure did look good.
A good heifer here - notice the little dinky looking calf - that what happens when you have fertile cattle and the bulls breeds a heifer calf. He had 3 calves born out of heifers this spring.
He has a couple Red Angus/Char cows and that is where this little guy came from. You gotta love that cross.
Here is a bull he got a couple years ago, not the best bull in the world, but is doing fine and stays in good condition for him
