subsilver is the default template for phpBB. You can see it here:

If you notice they have a few more members and posts than we do!
FI Apple is the template I modified to be more user friendly and have a more "cattle" look for the Boards (whatever "cattle" look is). Since some of the modifications don't work with subsilver I configured the Boards to not allow you use it.
