Lots of Saliva coming from cows mouth

I have a 2 1/2 year old cow that just yesterday started having a lot of saliva drooling from her mouth. She had one calf a year ago February and shows no sign of calving again. She has always been with a bull. Any thoughts?

Does she have trouble eating / grazing? My biggest concern would be that she may have something lodged in her mouth somewhere. I would keep a close eye on her...make sure she can eat.

Two common reasons for drooling in cows are they have eaten something poisonous or they have something lodged in their throat.

Your cow needs to have a veterinarian examine her asap!

It can also be a sign of extreme heat stress
