lost a freind of the family

it all started back in 1994 when one wk before me and my wife were married. She came home with 3 kittens and a puppy we named Chelsea. After all the fun and love she brought to our family and freinds,she's running in heaven like a new puppy again. We are thankful for the last three years because our vet told us we should put her down,we did'nt,and she was still running around and happy.It's 12:00 am just got in from putting her with some of our other missed freinds and hate the thought of telling our 11 yr. old son in the morning.

That's really tough, especially telling your son. All pet lovers understand and sympathize with your sad loss.

I'm very sorry to hear about your dog. I just lost mine in September and it is tough. Amazing how they become such a big part of the family.
Sometimes I think kids handle death better than us adults, especially if they believe in Heaven.

I am so sorry, roux. I lost one of my dogs last December, and a second one a few weeks ago. My heart goes out to you and your family.
