Do you have pictures? It's hard to guess without a picture. This time of year lice is the first thing that comes to mind when seeing lost fur. It could also be some other things like ringworm.
Probably lice, hard to tell without pictures. If it's lice, either Ivermectin Pour on wormer. Or ignoring it, works too, once they shed out it usually resolves itself.
