Saw this at the zoo in Birmingham AL. It was ahead of the handicap parking. In case you can't read it, it says "RESERVED FOR HYBRID VEHICLE PARKING ONLY".

The reasoning session for that decision by the zoo folk must have been a real mind-twister. How many people were seduced by the lure of close in parking at the zoo and bought a prius?
Who goes to the zoo? In my mind it is a decision often made by young mothers who are looking for an activity for the kids. Those young mothers drive Tahoes and such around here and I'll bet it is much the same in Birmingham.
Decision probably hinged on how many of the board members drive voltmeter cars and want close in parking for themselves.
