Loading round bales

Life on our farm before we got a tractor. This how we loaded and moved round bales with horses. After the bale was loaded on the slide, my husband would hook up to it and move the bale where he wanted it. We would feed round bales this way in the winter moving them on the slide. The horses are a team of Standard/Percheron mares. They were not a very good team when we got them. Real idiots. I hope that the link works.
