Loading Chute

Going to build a new loading chute, anyone have one that works well for them that can give me the dimensions and pictures. Was thinking 14-16', 30" wide with 2' catwalk. My portable chute is just too short. This would be a movable stationary chute. Similar to the stationary chute here .

Wish I could help but haven't had that much experience with them. Only one I ever worked with looked a lot like the one in the link (stationary). Just make sure you're height and width matches up well with the back door in a "pot".

28" is wide enough. That's what I build mine. The wider they get the easier it is for an animal to turn around and come back at you.

Would 2" pipe be strong enough or do I need to go 3?

2 3/8 should be plenty stout. I'm about to start building one and plan on using 3" square tubing for the frame
