Little Nancy's Goldfish

Yeah, I know this has nothing to do with cattle, but might give some of you a chuckle all the same...

~Little Nancy's Goldfish~

Little Nancy was in the garden filling in a hole when
her neighbour peered over the fence. Interested in what
the cheeky-faced youngster was doing, he asked, "What are
you up to there, Nancy?"


"My goldfish died," she replied tearfully, without
looking up," and I've just buried him."


The neighbour laughed --- and said condescendingly,
"That's a ruddy big hole for a goldfish, isn't it?"


Nancy patted down the last heap of earth then
replied, "That's because he's inside your darn cat."
