liquid fertilizer

Does any one use a liquid fertilizer for pasture? I am dying to find something I could spray and mix with herbicide to do a 1 time pass to achieve both.

Any thoughts?

Not sure about a liquid "fertilizer", but we have used liquid nitrogen on occasion. You should be able to mix the two together and spray. The nitrogen is not a long lasting fertilizer, but is a very quick "pick me up" for a few weeks. It will also kill your cows if they graze on it too soon...........

That is good info. How much did you use and what was the %N? How long did you leave cattle off? That might be a very feasable option on pasture in a rotational grazing setup. Spray as soon as you pull cattle off.

We run a wead killer with liquid fert. The guy around here is pretty reasonable and will do both at the same time.
