Thought I would post a few pictures I snapped of one of our linebred bull calves the other night. He is the product of mating a son to a grandaughter. The calf is between 9 1/2 and 10 months of age. As you can tell he has not been pushed at the feedbunk as clean as he is in the brisket.

Could you please explain a "son to grandaughter mating"

BTW not a bad calf, could use some hip
 
Nice calves. Line breeding seems to work well from what Ive ever seen.

How close are you game to go?

We have successfully mated half-siblings and are considering mating a sire to his grandaughter. We have also bred a young bull back to his dam, but the resulting calf has yet to be born.
