Liming pasture while P.G. cows graze it?

I have a small pasture that needs liming. I also have several head of pregnamt Brangus in the pasture and it is my only source for feeding them. Willl the lime hurt them? Sam

No. The calcium content will probably help them.

Depending on the amount you have to spread and if you get any rain, the powdery lime can cause irritation of the eyes and nostrils. Once it washes down to the gorund there isn;t much of a problem
