I lost two very pregnant mommas last night to lightning strikes. I can't tell you how helpless I felt when I saw them, but then again I probably don't need to tell most of you. Living in one of the lightning capitals of the world really sucks. End of pity party. Thanks

So sorry... We lost 3 a couple years ago and today, lightning was hitting all over. SO i dont know what i'll find when i can finally get out and check everyone....

That is terrible! I am so very sorry. I dread for lightning storms to start. My dad lost several through the years to lightning.

Sorry for the loss. We all control what we can with our livestock giving them vaccinations for diseases, fly control, good food and water, and mineral to keep them nice and healthy and then a lightning bolt finds them and boom they're gone. Definitely sad and a bit tough to see all our good work zapped, then to have too turn around and start again with their replacements.
