Poured yearling bulls 2 weeks ago and now they are rubbing really bad. Need to get this treated and also need hair to grow back fast because our sale is in 2 1/2 weeks. Suggestions? Thanks.

One problem, we clipped the bulls already before they even started rubbing. I don't need a mess of hair, but a little peach fuzz would make it look much better.

What did you pour them with?
My best success is with Ivomec. Are you sure they don't have ringworm also? You may want to bath them in an anti fungal and apply anti fungal solution directly to the hairless spots.
M-5 is right. Probably still won't have hair in 2 weeks. :(

I've got one cow that has been rubbing. Started just before she calved, needed to get them up, hard delivery, and ivomec'd her then. I turned her out a few days later and went back to rubbing? She's the only one on the place that's doing it that bad, and it's been a couple weeks. I've been reluctant to turn her out with the main bunch, I've got her running with the young bull and her calf. I may try to retreat her.
